Becca is originally from a sleepy mountain hamlet in New Mexico. She moved to Colorado to attend Metropolitan State University of Denver and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Since then, Becca has spent a significant portion of her time as a Respiratory Therapist in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), mostly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Becca's job as a respiratory therapist required her to become proficient in using several high-tech medical gadgets. She attended MIT to study Robotics and Software Engineering when she acquired a newfound interest in technology and subsequently decided to pursue a career in the field.
Becca's mind is naturally curious and analytical, and she enjoys experimenting and conducting experiments at home. For example, she would compare water samples from her kitchen and bathroom. She spends most of her spare time indoors, studying recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and neuroscience. She also spends the remainder of her free time outside, photographing animals and breathtaking landscapes. Becca, who has had a lifelong interest in photography, received her first DSLR camera as a present when she turned 14. Since that time, her enthusiasm for photography has increased significantly. She enjoys hiking, camping, rock climbing, skiing, paddle boarding, and competing in triathlons when she is not busy taking pictures of a herd of elk or writing code for her most recent project.
