Overview

The Mojave jacket from Brooks Range was the most blogged about jacket at the 2012 Winter Outdoor Retailer show. This 800 fill down jacket weighs in at about 1.4 lbs and features DownTek, Brooks-Range’s new water-resistant down. This new technology aim to solve the age-old problem of down loosing its loft and warmth once it gets wet. MSRP: $299

Brooks-Range has done tests comparing it to regular down and claims that: • Its loft after water immersion is 300 percent better.
• It dries five times faster.
• Absorbs at least three times less water.
