Our Verdict
For an incredibly low price on Amazon, the Hofi High Waist is a steal. They are made of breathable fabric and come in various colorful and fun designs. Most importantly, these yoga pants are adorned with two side pockets that we just fell in love with during testing. If you plan to run some errands after your next yoga practice, you can leave your purse at home. These pockets allow for enough space to stash your phone and credit card, and an additional inner pocket at the waist is perfect for your keys. The design doesn't make the pockets look bulky or awkward, and you barely notice they're there when you haven't stuffed anything inside. The fit of these leggings was not our favorite; our testers complained about the extra fabric that would bunch up in the crotch region. But depending on your body type, this may not be the case for you. For an attractive price, the leggings perform ideally during most yoga practices.

Our Analysis and Test Results
The Hofi High Waist Yoga Pants are made of 77% polyester and 23% spandex. They have dozens of colors to choose from with some fun patterns and come in sizes XS to XXL.

Breathability
The polyester and spandex blend used in the Hofi legging does a great job of wicking away moisture and maintaining decent breathability. However, they're almost on the verge of see-through because they are constructed from such thin material. Fortunately, the light fabric allows for a decent amount of breathability. That said, they weren't our top choice for a hot yoga class.
These pants were rated pretty average for breathability.

Ease of Movement
The Hofi leggings allow you to flow smoothly through your practice. The high-waisted band only has a thin piece of elastic on top, which keeps the pants firmly in place but doesn't restrict or impede your movement. Overall, these pants scored well in our ease of movement metric.
If anything, these pants were on the looser side and didn't impede movement at all. If anything, they felt a bit baggy at times.

Comfort and Fit
The Hofi leggings are on the looser side for fit. On the one hand, this allows for easy, nonrestricted movement. Unfortunately, the extra fabric bunched up in the crotch region, which is unflattering, to say the least. The polyester and spandex blend is smooth against the skin, but the lack of support and compression made this one of our least favorites in the "comfort and fit" category. We recommend downsizing from your regular fit to help with this problem.

Durability
We didn't have any specific durability issues during testing; this particular type of fabric doesn't seem to pill, which can be a pitfall in many yoga pants. The Hofi leggings are designed from a thin blend of polyester and spandex that's so thin that they border on see-through. While we can not draw any absolute correlations between the thinness of the material and a pant's durability, we certainly have noticed over time that the pairs with thicker material tend to stretch out at a slower pace.
Should You Buy the Hofi High Waisted?
These are some of the cheapest pairs of yoga pants in our review. Although we loved the addition of the pockets, Hofi should address the loose fit and thin material. We recommend downsizing and buying in a darker color to avoid any embarrassing realizations that everyone can see your polka-dotted underwear during your first down dog of the practice. If you love pockets or are just looking to save a few bucks, order yourself up a pair and stretch on out.

What Other Yoga Pants Should You Consider?
These pants retail for one of the lowest prices in our review. However, for just a little more, you can get the slightly higher scoring 90 Degree by Reflex High Waist Powerflex. The 90 Degree has a bit more compression, which allowed for better comfort and fit than the Hofi. If you're looking to save some dollars and can buy just one pair, these are a wonderful alternative to more expensive options in our yoga pants review.
