The Women's Rab Stretch Neo jacket is the women's version of the men's Rab Stretch Neo Jacket about which we did a full review, and which won our Best Buy award.
The Rab Stretch Neo can be hard to find; if you find this is the case, consider the next highest rated jacket in the $400 range, which is the Helly Hansen Verglas Jacket.
It is identical to the men's version, except being a bit lighter, cut in at the waist and being offered in three different colors: Aqua, Rose and Iris.
The men's version won high praise for offering crossover chest pockets, a helmet-compatible hood and excellent adjusting cords. The jacket was nearly as good as the Editors' Choice Arcteryx Alpha SV but at 40 percent lower cost. Its best use was deemed to be ice and alpine climbing.
Rab Stretch Neo - Women's ReviewPrice: $365 List Pros: Excellent crossover hand pockets, two large interior zippered mesh pockets provide lots of storage and allow you to see inside.
Cons: No pit zips limits ventialtion, Velcro cuffs are small and less sticky than others, no hand pockets can be a drawback for some people, main zipper is harder to pull than most others, features are not as refined as Arcteryx Alpha SV's.
