Our Analysis

The Black Diamond Offset Micro Stopper is the first tiny stopper we know of to seriously challenge the DMM Brass Offsets, which is our Editors' Choice Winner. The BD Offset uses a very similar design to the DMM with a taper on every side and grooves on the wide sides. The difference is the metal. The DMM uses copper whereas the Black Diamond uses a copper and iron mix. The difference is that the Black Diamond is a little harder and more durable and the DMM is a little softer. So far, in our first tests, we have a hard time really finding a giant difference in performance. Both perform great.

We do know that we much prefer this new Black Diamond Offset Micro Stopper to the older Black Diamond Micro Stopper. It seems that whenever, you are placing a tiny tiny nut, having that offset option really helps it sit well in pin scars and just about any crack.
