Though one of the more expensive tents, the Eurmax Premium 10x10 Pop Up is by far the most durable and reliable tent tested, rising to earn our Editor's Choice Award. This tent utilizes quick release push tabs to make set up and take down fast and easy, and because of the sound construction and high-quality materials, the joints glide into place. After only the first set up, this tent stood out from all the rest, and throughout testing, it continued to wow. Weighing a bulky 64 lbs, this model is very heavy, which makes setup clearly a two-person project. But with this weight comes stability that outmatches its lighter competition. And while weighty, transportation is made easy due to the useful wheeled bag included. This canopy is built for frequent use throughout the year.

Our Analysis and Test Results
With three adjustable peak height settings at 10.5', 10.8', and 11.1', the Eurmax offers plenty of sun protection and the 100-foot floor space can accommodate up to six people. Although most commercial canopies offer the same 10'x10' floor space, this tent feels larger than the others.
The steep peak allows for water to slide right off the canopy, though the interior framing makes for less headspace than the peak height would make you believe. There is a maximum side height of 7 ft which gives plenty of clearance for most folks. Due to the height of the peak as well as the size of the frame itself, this shelter literally stands above the rest.
Ease of Setup
Given the hefty 64 lb 4 oz weight of the Eurmax Premium, one would expect this tent to be challenging to set up. On the contrary, the quick release buttons combined with the quality of materials makes this tent one of the fastest to erect. Averaging only 1 min 26 sec, this tent feels extremely smooth during the setup process, with the legs gliding into place with minimal effort. Despite being much bulkier than the AmazonBasics model, one of our 5'4" testers had no problems extending the legs and securing them in place, the exact opposite experience we had with the AmazonBasics.
The stakes and guy lines included are high quality as well. We were able to easily stake down the tent with no discernible bending, which is a rare occurrence since most stakes provided with canopy tents are made from aluminum, which easily bends under pressure. Take down is just as simple, it glides back into its carrying size and can be lowered into the wide-open carrying bag for quick transportation. All in all, this shelter was one of the easiest to maneuver, set-up and take down, which surprised us provided that it is a heavy behemoth.
The 0.8" strap guy-lines combined with the commercial grade stakes make this shelter extremely stable. This tent is also an impressive 64+ lbs, which all by itself improves its stability in the wind. If the weight, stakes, and guy-lines are still not enough to keep this structure on the ground (though doubtful), Eurmax offers leg weight sandbags for an additional purchase.
The combination of weight and material strength gives this shelter impressive durability and stability. Right out of the bag it is obvious that this tent is of the utmost quality. With a full truss system and a hammer powder coated finish, the frame is rust, scratch and bend resistant. The fabric is a 500D polyester design with seams that are sealed where possible, making the canvas extremely water-resistant.
In addition, the fabric boasts a UPF 50+ rating which protects from up to 95% of UVA and UVB rays as well as a CPAI-84 fire retardant certification. Without a way to test that in our lab, we'll have to take Eurmax's word on that. The thumb latch system reduces stress not only on your fingers but on the legs as well, increasing the longevity of this tent.
Yet another area where this tent stands out is its portability, all thanks to its well-designed carrying bag. Despite being the heaviest shelter tested, it is one of the easiest to transport and relocate. The bag comes with 2.7-inch wheels which operate on rough ground as well as grass. In addition, rubberized hand grips make pulling this beast along fairly comfortable on your hands.
Unlike most bags, this one comes with interior pockets which can be used to store stakes, guy-lines, or documents, which limits the number of small components that normally go missing during the transportation process. Our testers often misplaced tent stakes due to the lack of additional pouches on these carrying bags, which gets old fast. The bag itself zips completely open, allowing for the shelter to be lowered into place, which eliminates the typical issues attributed to jamming a large tent into a small bag. Because of the high weight, hoisting and lowering this tent will still require multiple people, though thanks to the wheel bag and rubberized grips, transporting this shelter is relatively easy.
Due to this shelter's weight, size, and overall durability, we would recommend this tent for anyone seriously involved in the commercial canopy tent scene. It is strong enough to last multiple days, even in poor weather, and can be moved around relatively easily thanks to the travel bag. The word reliability comes to mind, which is important to consider if you're utilizing a canopy tent to keep your prized possessions safe and out of the elements. Regular market vendors will most likely appreciate having this tent all summer long.
The Eurmax Premium is expensive. If you're looking for a canopy tent that can handle some serious use, this is the tent for you. The durability and structural integrity of all the components along with the ease of set-up and transport provided from the high quality carrying case, make this shelter worth the money. If your intent is to keep expensive products safe from the sun and rain, we recommend shelling out the cash for the dependability that this tent provides.
This is an exceptional tent that will hold up even in inclement weather. Through the entirety of the first setup, the difference in durability and ease of use was immediately apparent compared to the shelters tested prior. If you can afford the initial investment, the ease of transport/set up, as well as the quality of materials will make this shelter worth it. If your aim is to keep the things or ones you love away from nature's fury, you won't be disappointed. With that being said, there are cheaper options if you're looking for more of an occasional, single day use shelter.
