First Look Gear Review
Street Price: Varies from $75 - $85 | Compare prices at 2 resellers
Pros: Lightest wind breaker we have test, nice hood, very compact
Cons: Without full zip in front is hard to fully ventilate, no pockets, hard to keep track of stuff sack
Best Uses: Biking, emergency layer when hiking and not expecting a serious storm
This is the lightest wind breaker we have tested. See the video below for more details. There is also a Tachyon Anorak which is a little heavier and comes with a full zipper down the middle and no hood.
We enjoying using this in conjunction with the MontBell EX Light Down Jacket. We can't imagine more wind protection and warmth for under 8 ounces.
We will eventually add this into our complete Wind Breaker Jacket Review.
