Pros: Ultra breathable, great wicking ability, fabric stretches well, fast drying, many colors, Raglan sleeves offer a full range of motion, athletic styling.
Cons: Too thin for cold weather (unless used as an underwear layer), holds in odors.
Best Uses: Running, cardio, biking, multi-sports, weight lifting, cross-training, dance, climbing, yoga, pilates, horseback riding, around town, around home, underwear, layers, pajamas, work or play or casual wear.
One of the best lightweight, women's sport shirts that we've tested. The thin polyester Vaporwick fabric wicks moisture away from the skin very well and dries out quickly after sweaty cardio activities. The fabric is also stretchy enough to make it fairly durable even though it is thin and lightweight. The lightness of the fabric makes this shirt better for warmer climates but it can be used as a fairly adequate underwear layer in cold weather.
A nice V-neck is always stylish and the cut gives this shirt an athletic yet casual look. Raglan sleeves (the seam goes from neck to underarm rather than on top of the shoulder) offer a full range of motion. The Raglan sleeve design is also better for carrying backpacks because there are no seams on top of the shoulders where the backpack straps would rub. It is available in a full range of colors from bright and vivid to natural heathers. This shirt is very simple and being thin and light it is not meant to last forever but for the affordable price, athletic cut and nice feel we think it is worth trying out.
