Pros: Well-fitting, great support, light.
Cons: Slow to dry, weird foot angle.
Best Uses: Hiking, backpacking, "fastpacking."
The Salomon Quest 4D GTX W Women’s Hiking Boot is the lighter weight version of the Men's Quest 4D GTX about which we did a full review. The appearance and specs for the two are very much the same aside from the weight and the fact that the women’s version comes in two colors, blue and light grey, while the men’s boot comes in three colors, brown, green and darker grey.
To get a better sense of how the Quest 4D GTX W stacks up against the competition, look at a more complete review of the Salomon Quest as well as our Hiking Boots - Womens Review.
The Men's Quest was a Top Pick winner as on the best light yet sturdy hiking boots we tested. We imagine the Women's Quest will perform similarly but have yet to complete our tests. Stay tuned!
