Overview
The GoPro Motosports HD Hero package comes with mounts car, motorcycle, snowmobile or just about anything with a flat surface (chainsaw?). It has the same camera, housing, and basics that come with all the other sport packages (see below) and is a good value. However, we really encourage you to buy the GoPro HD Hero2 Motorsports package which is much better and winner of our Editor's Choice award. The Hero2 has better image quality, a better LCD screen, smartphone connectivity, an 11MP camera, and external mic jack and only costs $60 more than the 1st generation GoPro.

If money is super tight, we recommend the GoPro Hero 960 for the most savings or the Contour Roam for the overall best value.

The one reason to buy the Original HD Hero motorsports package is if you find it on sale for a great deal.

=What’s Included with the Motorsports package==
1 HD HERO Camera (5 megapixel)
1 Rechargable 1100 mAh Lithium-Ion Battery
1 Waterproof Quick-Release Housing (197’/60 m)
3 Flat, 3M™ Adhesive Mounts
2 Curved, 3M™ Adhesive Mounts
2 Quick-Release Buckles
1 Vertical Surface “J-Hook” Buckle
1 Suction Cup Mount
1 Three-Way Pivoting Side Arm Assembly
1 USB Cable
1 Component Video (HDTV) Cable
1 Composite Video + Audio Out Cable
