How We Test
Chris McNamara took all these hauling devices on big wall ascents, mostly on El Capitan. He put them through all the various hauling methods with loads big and small. He also compared his findings with the old pulley and ascender method that he he used when he first learned to wall climb. Overall, these devices were tested (collectively) on more than 100 big wall ascents.
