Pros:  Stong, light
Cons:  Expensive, must tie trible fisherman to connect two strands
Manufacturer:   BlueWater Ropes

The BlueWater ropes 5mm Titan Cord is constructed from Dyneema fiber and nylon which makes it strong and light. It is available in 6m (~20ft), 25m (82ft) and 50m (164ft) lengths. It should be noted that the true diameter is actually 5.5mm.

Keep in mind that thin cord like this has its limitations and concerns. A triple fishermans knot (required), it's very hard to cut even with a knife, and many people have concerns about spectra cords in general.

Pros: Stong, easy to untie

Easy to untie? Bluewater recommends a TRIPLE fisherman's knot. That's easy to untie if you have a pair of pliers.

Cons: A little bulky

It's 5.5 mm (.216") diameter. Not bulky at all

Best Uses: Setting up anchors on multi-pitch climbs, top roping

Although some people may use this for a cordelette, it's best use is for slinging nuts and Gunks tie offs. It's not responsible to recommend this for a top rope anchor

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.
