Overview
The Mammut Alpine Rider is one of the first helmets certified for both skiing and climbing. Its removable/exchangeable fleece lining allows you to shed extra weight or add extra warmth as conditions dictate. It is relatively lightweight and retails for $100. It will be available in Fall 2012.

We aim to get our hands on one soon and add it to our Climbing Helmet Review in the fall. View all the other Best Products of Winter Outdoor Retailer 2012.
