Arcteryx Altra 75 Review

The Altra 75 is the bigger version of the Arcteryx Altra 65 (that we did a full hands on review of). The Altra 65 won our Editors Choice award in the backpack category. Most people will prefer the more moderate size of the 65. You don't save that much weight by going with the 65 (only a few ounces) but you invariably end up carrying more stuff with the 75. The best way to lighten your load, is to limit how much stuff you can bring. Backpacker Magazine gave the Altra their Editors Choice Award in 2010.

How is the Altra 75 different than the Altra 65?
The Altra 75 is:

• 10 liters bigger (13%)

• $25 more expensive

• 3.5 ounces heavier

Both come in the color Raven (dark gray/black) but the 65 also comes in a orange color and the 75 comes in a red.
